Management Team

Mr. Ogunniranye graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography. He also holds Masters in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School EDS’ Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management Programme.

Mr. Ogunniranye is a seasoned Insurance Broker, Underwriter, Marketer and Manager with proven experience. He started his career in insurance with Leadway Assurance Company Limited in 1991, and has over 25 years of experience in insurance underwriting, broking, claims management, risk management, marketing and insurance consultancy. He worked briefly with Equity Indemnity Insurance Company Limited (now Equity Assurance Plc) between 1993 and 1994 before joining Scib Nigeria & Company Limited, an insurance brokerage firm in 1994. In May, 2009, he joined Great Nigeria Insurance Plc as Deputy General Manager (Operations) and was appointed the Acting Managing Director/CEO in October, 2009. He joined Nigerian Life & Provident Company Limited in 2011 as General Manager (Operations).

He has attended training courses both within and outside Nigeria. Among these are training course on oil & gas insurance by Nigerian Corporation of Registered Insurance Brokers in collaboration with HSBC Group London and a one week intensive on-the-job training on oil & gas at Meridian Risk Solutions London.

He joined KFI Insurance Brokers Limited in November, 2018 as Chief Responsibility Officer and Coordinator, Oil & Gas/Special Risks Unit. He was appointed Managing Director/CEO in May, 2019.

Mr. Ogunniranye’s specialty is energy/special risks insurance.

Mr. Oyafemi holds a National Diploma in Insurance from The Polytechnic Ibadan in 1983. He also holds Masters in Business Administration in marketing from Lagos State University, Lagos in 2011. He is as Associate of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

Prior to his joining KFI Insurance Brokers Ltd in September, 2018, he had worked as Assistant Superintendent with Leadway Assurance Company Ltd (1985-1987), Underwriting Manager, The Lion of Africa Insurance Co. Ltd (1987-1992), Assistant General  Manager Technical, Equity Assurance Plc (1992-1995), Assistant General Manager (General Business/Operations) Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc (1995-1996), Senior Controller Claims, UNIC Insurance Plc (1998-2012), Deputy General manager Marketing, Trust and Guarantee Insurance Company Ltd (2002-2007), Assistant General Manager Technical, Crusader General Insurance Ltd (2007-2013) and Divisional Head Branch Operations, Custodian and Allied Insurance Ltd (2013-2017).

Mr. Oyafemi is a high profile Insurance Practitioner with extensive experience in insurance practice. A motivated achiever, he pioneered teams for two Insurance Companies as Head of Technical. A highly resourceful Professional, he has delivered, facilitated and attended various courses within and outside Nigeria.

Mr. Oyafemi’s specialty is property insurance with special attention on catastrophic risks.

Mr. Olonimoyo is an Associate of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

A well-grounded insurance professional, Mr. Olonimoyo was prior to his joining KFI Insurance Brokers Ltd in September, 2018, was head, Reinsurance, Special Risks and Claims, Equity Assurance Plc (Now Sunu Assurance Plc) between 1998 and 2017. He had earlier worked at various times in the motor, general accidents and claims departments of NICON Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (Now NICON Insurance Plc) between 1981 and 1995.

Mr. Olonimoyo’s specialty is reinsurance, liability insurance and claims. He heads the underwriting and claims department of the company.

Mr. Omikunle heads the Energy and Special Unit of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Art degree in History/Political Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife (1996) and a Post graduate Diploma (2010) and Masters in Business Administration (2012) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho.

A versatile and consummate insurance professional, Mr. Omikunle has a wide knowledge of insurance broking. Experience wise, he has over 20 years’ experience in insurance broking and risk management. He was, between June 1997 and November, 2004 account Executive and Branch Manager with Scib Nigeria & Co. Ltd (Insurance Brokers), Senior Manager (Technical Broking Practice) Femi Johnson & Co. Ltd (December 2010 – December 2015) and Group Insurance Manager, Intels Nigeria Ltd, Subsidiaries and Associated Companies (January 2016 – November 2017).

Mr. Omikunle has attended various courses in energy and oil and gas insurance practice and liability. He specializes in oil and gas insurance.

He joined KFI Insurance Brokers Ltd in October, 2018.

Mr. Adeniyi is a 2003 graduate of Accountancy of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with over 14 years considerable experience in finance, accounts and audit/controls. He’s also an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He started his career in January 2004 with Tradeline Communication Ltd as Accounting Officer. He was a Procurement Officer with UTC Nigeria Plc (Foods), between December 2005 and March 2009, Accountant, BVL Logistics between June 2009 and July 2010, Audit Trainee, Shofolawe-Bakare & Co, between August 2010 and July, 2011 and Internal Auditor, Mutual Alliance Investment & Securities Ltd between November 2013 and September 2018.

Mr. Adeniyi joined KFI Insurance Brokers Ltd in October 2018.
